This gothic Ohio State wordmark has been a vintage favorite among Buckeyes past and present. For this mark’s popularity, though, Ohio State’s campus doesn’t have a strong connection to Gothic architecture. The four campus structures on the National Register of Historic Places – Hale Hall, Hayes Hall, Orton Hall, and the Shoe – are built in different architectural styles. In other words, it’s just a cool look.
